InnovaBuzz Episode #63 – James Eder – Causr

In this episode, my guest is James Eder founder of Causr, an app that helps people connect. We talked about the challenges of starting up a new business and transforming an idea into a viable and sustainable business model, as well as why it is important to get out of your comfort zone and connect with new people.

James is a very impressive and inspiring individual, who is on a mission to make a difference in the world, by enabling more people to connect.

In fact, to help him with this mission, we are issuing a challenge today – if you choose to accept this challenge (no it is NOT Mission Impossible!), you may well get a special prize, as well as great rewards as outlined in our interview. Stay tuned later in the podcast, where I’ll outline the details of your mission! Don’t worry, this tape will NOT self destruct in 60 seconds!

A Highly Effecitve 3 Step Digital Marketing Framework

A Highly Effecitve 3 Step Digital Marketing Framework

by Jürgen Strauss

Have you ever had a random sales person turn up at your doorstep and try to sell you something you had no interest in and didn’t need?
Yes, it used to happen to me all the time, until I put my “No salespeople to knock” sticker up. Even then, some ignore it. It’s plain annoying!

Imagine the person doing the selling, though……. knocking on a perfect stranger’s door, with no idea of who will answer. With absolutely no knowledge of whether that person has an interest in their product, whether they need their product or if they even care!

I suspect that their conversion rate – in other words, the number of sales they make relative to the number of doors opened to them relative to the number of doors they knock on would be pretty low….. .. it must be really hard……

By following this 3 step digital marketing framework, every business, regardless of what industry they are in or what business model they follow, can build a highly effective digital marketing system that delivers exceptional results on a consistent and ongoing basis.

Systems and Processes – 5 Ways they save YOU Time and earn you more Money

by AM

What’s holding your business back? Are you so busy doing the daily do that you cant find time to focus on improving product and service delivery and growing your business? Have you avoided (yes, “avoided”) putting systems and processes in place to make your business hum, create consistency and ensure great customer service?

Some business owners think that if they take even a short time out of being “hands on” in their business, everything will grind to a halt.

I often hear “yes I know I should develop systems and processes but (tired sigh) I don’t have the time … or – my time would be better spent … or – it’s just quicker if I do it myself and I know it will be done right … or – I have other issues that are a greater priority at the moment” … and so on … and so on … and so on.

I can certainly identify with some of these from my own experiences… Failing to take time to work on business improvement is a sure fire way to stunt your business growth. Read this article and see for yourself how systems and processes can save you time and earn you money!

How to Use Content to Get Your Audience to Trust You

by Sujan Patel

Why are online reviews so prevalent regardless of industry? It’s because we, as consumers, need to be reassured that whatever we’re paying for is going to deliver on its promises.

Integrity is at the heart of this. An honest business that stands by its principles is one that deserves to be trusted. But you can’t just say you have integrity – you have to show it.

The best way to pitch a content marketing plan to your boss

The best way to pitch a content marketing plan to your boss

by Toby Knott

‘Content marketing’s just touchy feely nonsense. How does it make me money?’

Sound familiar? Whether you’re contending with a view like this or you have a slightly more receptive boss, you need to make a solid business case for your content marketing plan and use the pitch to show how it will grow your business. The ‘everyone else is doing it’ defence won’t fly.

Sure, content marketing is not as showy and in-your-face as traditional marketing techniques; it’s not about immediate wins and it does take planning and hard work, but that doesn’t stop it from being the most cost-effective method to boost traffic, drive conversions and increase sales. You just need to prove it.

Find out what this article says about the business benefits of content marketing and you can weave these benefits into content marketing plan.
